Multi-Currency LP Funding
Allowing LPs to fund an SPV in their local currency rather than the SPV's base currency.
Multi-currency LP funding lets limited partners fund an SPV in a currency other than the vehicle's base currency — a euro-holding LP subscribing to a USD-denominated SPV, for example. The provider converts at the point of funding, posts the USD-equivalent commitment to the SPV ledger, and should show the LP the rate before they send anything rather than after. Coverage varies a great deal between platforms, so it is worth checking against the specific currencies your LP base actually holds. Rocketbook accepts deposits in US dollars, euros and South African rand, plus the stablecoins USDC, USDT and EURC, with further local currencies on the roadmap.
